About Project
Milkman is a fictional brand and Mobile application, this project entailed the development of a landing page and designing mobile UI prototypes.
This project combined various skills, software, planning, and time management.
Design Process.
Visual design is what we are all waiting for as designers, but it’s important to take into account all the hard work done in the design process up to this point. Research, wireframes, mood boards, competitive sets, etc… all go into this first portion of the visual design process.
I always get so excited and want to rush straight into making full-fledged mockups as soon as the discovery phase is over… but to get the best final results I take my time to develop style tiles. Style Tiles are a design deliverable consisting of fonts, colors, and interface elements that communicate the essence of a visual brand for the web.

Development.
This is the part of the project where I put away my designer hat and start front-end development. I developed this site piece by piece and along the way learned valuable skills that helped make me a better developer. Topics discovered in this project include Sass, HTML, CSS, Responsive coding techniques, Github basics, CSS Flexbox, and more.
I used a lot of really cool front-end techniques in this one like CSS Grid, Psuedo elements, and responsive media queries. You can check out the code on my GitHub where you can see all these pieces come together.
